Dancing on the Bridge, a project of the Malvern Community Development Fund, is an annual festival and fundraiser held on the streets of Malvern, Ohio.  It includes vendors, a car show, a free children's play area, entertainment, a basket raffle, a beer garden and a patron party.  Funds are raised for projects in Malvern, and our generous donors make these projects possible.  The photos below show all of the ways in which Dancing on the Bridge has improved Malvern in ten years.  Last year funds were raised to renovate two dugouts and build two new dugouts on the community baseball fields.  These projects are in process and we will update you when they are finished. In 2015, our project is to provide new, beautiful Christmas decorations for downtown Malvern.  They will hang on the streetlight poles and are four feet tall wrapped in mylar garland with bright LED lights and are in a variety of holiday shapes: snowflakes, gifts, wreaths, candy canes, stars,  bells, candles, ornaments, trees and poinsettias.  If you have questions or want to volunteer, call or email our Co-Chairwomen: Carol Brawley 330-863-9234, cbrawley@neo.rr.com or Susan Joyce 330-875-3994, 99sjoyce@gmail.com.

In its eleven years, Dancing on the Bridge has raised over $384,000, which has allowed the Malvern Community Development Fund to make many improvements to our Village.  Improvements have included a walking track, fitness stations, streetlights on the bridge and downtown streets, community flower planters, our double-sided Malvern clock, the Welcome to Malvern sign, benches, trees and playground equipment in the park, basketball and tennis courts, a "facelift" for Village Hall, a renovated Fire Siren Tower, a Creekside Overlook patio and baseball dugouts, which are being worked on.  All of these were possible due to the generosity of our local donors, and we thank them all for making Malvern better!  The photos below show what is possible when we all work together!
