The 2013 Dancing on the Bridge festival and fundraiser was a great success, and many thanks go out to our donors, vendors, entertainers, volunteers, committee, patron party planners and hosts, car show staff and everyone who attended and made the day terrific celebration.  Please visit our website pages for photos and names of sponsors, committee members and volunteers.  Enough money was raised to renovate the fire siren tower, and we will update you here on our progress on the project.  Again, thank you to everyone who was involved in 2013!

Fire Siren Tower & Creekside Park Project

After preparing the surface, Jim Hanlin of Hanlin Painting painted the Fire Siren Tower silver and bright red. Ralph Castellucci, Great Trail Fire District Captain, rewired the electrical box, and Dustin Decker of Decker Landscaping did the landscaping work.  Gary Pearce of Cedar Outdoor Furniture provided the bench.  With all this, the mini-park area next to the tower was finished!  Mayor Steve Adams, Malvern Community Development Fund President Connie Griffin, Council President Alan Artzner and Dancing on the Bridge Chairwoman Lisa Hudson participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.  The Dancing on the Bridge Committee hopes the park will be a peaceful spot for local residents to enjoy for many years to come!
